The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to cycle wide receivers in and out of the roster. Per James Larsen of PFN, the Steelers are signing UFL standout receiver Isaiah Winstead.
The East Carolina product caught 36 passes and four touchdowns in 10 games with the Louisville Kings during the 2026 UFL season. He was last on an NFL roster in the preseason of 2024 with the New York Jets, where he was a teammate of Aaron Rodgers.

Winstead had a tremendous final year at ECU, catching 88 passes for 1,085 yards and six touchdowns in 2022. He has yet to appear in a regular season NFL game.
The Steelers recently released wide receiver A.T. Perry to make room for Colton Dowell, whom they released almost immediately after signing. Winstead will now likely be fighting for a practice squad spot.
