Our second NFL Sunday of the year is in the books, and it had plenty to offer leading into Monday night’s showdown between the New York Giants and LA Rams.
Unfortunately, injuries dominated the headlines in Week 2. An injury to Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams headlined that news cycle after going down in the fourth quarter with an apparent non-contact injury. He was carted off before the team ruled him out with a hamstring injury. Later, another quarterback went down as Washington Commanders star Jayden Daniels suffered a dislocated elbow — his second since last season. He was promptly ruled out.

Wide receiver Jayden Reed suffered a scary neck injury and was also carted off after being stabilized on a backboard. Star running back Saquon Barkley also had an injury scare, suffering a stinger that had him questionable in the first half before returning in the third quarter to finish the game.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is set to undergo an MRI on his hamstring on Monday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Williams went down with what looked like a non-contact injury during Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He appeared to be in intense pain at the time of the injury.
While Williams apparently avoided an Achilles or knee injury, a serious hamstring issue can keep him out for a significant period of time. The Bears should hypothetically have more on his status later Monday.
