The Bulls have made a pair of moves, waiving Marquel Sutton and signing Jalen Bridges, the team announced (via Twitter).
Sutton, a 6’7″ forward who played for LSU last season, signed with Chicago on Saturday after playing Summer League with the Kings, with whom he averaged 8.8 points and 4.8 rebounds on .512/.389/.800 shooting over eight games.
Bridges, another 6’7″ wing, played 30.4 minutes over eight games for the Suns two years ago. He was signed and waived by the Celtics last season before spending a majority of last season with the Maine Red Claws, where he averaged 14.1 points and 1.5 steals in 32.5 minutes per game while hitting 37.2% of his threes.
Sutton will now be eligible to earn a bonus worth up to $91K on top of his NBAGL base salary if he spends at least 60 days with the Windy City Bulls, and the likelihood is that the 25-year-old Bridges will as well, should he be waived prior to the start of the season.
