The Los Angeles Rams would obviously prefer to pick up a Week 5 win against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. They currently sit at 2-2. 3-2 sounds better than a losing record.
Regardless of the outcome Monday, the Rams are in a position to go on a run in Week 6 and beyond. That’s not to say their schedule lightens up overall. It doesn’t. There are still plenty of tough games to come. It will just be a while before LA is tested to a severe degree, and that will allow time for key starters to nurse back to health.

Week 6 vs Arizona Cardinals
Arizona is 1-3 and in last place of the NFC West. They are on pace to position themselves for a quarterback in the 2027 NFL Draft. The Rams must keep the Cardinals on that trajectory.
Week 7 at Las Vegas Raiders
It’s no secret that the Raiders fans would probably dominate SoFi Stadium if the Rams were playing at home. LA would likely rather travel to face Las Vegas on the road. Are the Raiders better than expected? Absolutely. Should the Rams still be expected to win? Yes, and easily.
Week 8 vs Los Angeles Chargers
The other LA team led by Justin Herbert is still winless. They have enough talent to be dangerous and hang around in games they shouldn’t. The Rams can’t get caught by surprise.

Week 9 at Washington Commanders
The NFC East isn’t exactly a murderer’s row. The Commanders are still solidly in last place. The health of their quarterbacks is a major ongoing question. Even then, they are an older team who looks like their window has closed. The Rams can’t let it spring back open—even for a week.
Week 10 at Arizona Cardinals
Week 11 – BYE
Week 12 vs Green Bay Packers
While the Packers are 2-2, they might be one of the worst .500 teams across the NFL. Their offensive line is historically bad. Jordan Love is operating under a high degree of difficulty and his situation may not even be operable. LA’s pass rush could be back in full force and that could be a disastrous scenario for Green Bay.

Jaylen Watson and Aaron Donald could return as early as this week. Myles Garrett is able to come back as soon as Week 6 against the Cardinals, although it’s probably safe to assume he’ll be healthy no later than the Week 11 bye.
The defense is already tough to face without Watson, Donald and Garrett. Re-adding these players in the mix should help them restore their “super team” status. We have not seen all three healthy and on the field together.
And while the defense is performing well, the offense has yet to fire on all cylinders. Matthew Stafford and company put together two strong drives to take down the Eagles. Was this a sign their best weeks have yet to come?

Even if the Rams fall to 2-3 against the Bills, by Week 13 they could realistically find themselves at a 8-3 record based on their schedule. The closing stretch will be tough. The next two months could provide some wiggle room.
