Kristaps Porzingis continues to struggle with staying on the court.

The Golden State Warriors big man is out indefinitely to open training camp due to a health issue, the team told reporters on Monday.

Porzingis has missed extended periods of time over the last three seasons after being diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), an autonomic condition that can dramatically increase heart rate and cause dizziness and fatigue.

In 2025-26, he appeared in just 32 games total, and only 15 of those were with the Warriors following his acquisition from the Atlanta Hawks. He averaged 16.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists on 44.6 per cent shooting last season.

Following the injury-riddled campaign, the Warriors gave Porzingis a two-year, $40-million extension.
