Congratulations are in order as Bollywood actors Aadar Jain and his wife Alekha Advani have officially registered their marriage in Mumbai, around one and a half years after they got married. Aadar, who is Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s cousin, shared pictures from the marriage registration ceremony on social media on Wednesday, September 23.

Aadar and Alekha announced that they had officially made their marriage legal. In a playful caption, Aadar wrote, “Trial period: OVER. No returns, no exchanges, no take-backs!” He further called himself “Officially Mr. & Mrs. Jain” and thanked Ganpati Bappa for blessing them.

The pictures showed Aadar and Alekha signing the legal marriage documents. The couple also posed together for pictures and shared a glimpse of their celebrations.

Aadar and Alekha had already celebrated their wedding through multiple ceremonies in 2025. The couple first had a white wedding in Goa before their traditional Hindu wedding in Mumbai. Their Hindu wedding ceremony was held at The Taj Mahal Palace in February 2025 and was attended by several members of the Kapoor family and Bollywood celebrities.

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Neetu Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Suhana Khan and Rekha were among the celebrities who attended the celebrations.

Aadar and Alekha’s relationship

Aadar and Alekha had known each other for years before their relationship became public. Aadar proposed to Alekha in September 2024, and the couple subsequently celebrated their roka ceremony with family and close friends.

Aadar had previously been in a relationship with actor Tara Sutaria. His comments about his past relationship during his wedding festivities had also attracted attention on social media. He later clarified that his remarks had been misunderstood.

With their marriage now officially registered, Aadar and Alekha have completed another legal milestone in their relationship.
