Pittsburgh Steelers guard Spencer Anderson had one of the worst weeks of any offensive lineman in Week 2, allowing seven pressures – no other right guard allowed more than four. Now, it’s being reported the Steelers’ guard is dealing with a potentially major injury.
Per Mark Kaboly, Anderson suffered a bone break in Week 2.

“It can be classified as a bone chip, according to a source, which brings severe pain that can be eased somewhat by rest, but it’s usually only fully fixed through surgery,” Kaboly writes.
With an injury this severe, it would be a shock to see Anderson start on Sunday when the Steelers host the Cincinnati Bengals. It’s worth noting that Brock Hoffman was taking offensive linemen reps next to Zach Frazier during practice on Wednesday, and he very well could be the starter come Week 3.
