Wing Dalen Terry signed a two-year contract with the club, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Tuesday.
The move comes in the wake of a multitude of key injuries to the title-hopeful Thunder, who lost Cason Wallace and Jalen Williams potentially for the season. Chet Holmgren is also out eight to 10 weeks while Alex Caruso is facing a shorter timeline due to a sprained ankle.
Oklahoma City had been set to sign former Raptor Ochai Agbaji, but did not end up making the move after learning of Holmgren’s absence, Charania reported last week.
Instead, the Thunder turned to Terry, who failed to make the Golden State Warriors roster out of training camp.
Terry, 24, split last season between the Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers, averaging 3.7 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 48 games.
Drafted 18th overall by the Bulls in 2022 out of Arizona, Terry failed to find his footing in Chicago despite 204 games with the club.
He could make his Thunder debut as soon as Wednesday, when the team hosts the Cleveland Cavaliers.
