It’s finally time for NBA G League basketball to return.
The Raptors 905 — Toronto’s G League affiliate — begin their season on Friday and subsequently announced the opening night roster in advance of the festivities.
Headlining the group that’ll play out of Mississauga, Ont. will be the two-way trio of Nate Bittle, Malachi Smith and the recently signed Kevin McCullar Jr.
They’ll be joined by new affiliate players Andre Jackson Jr. and Trey Jemison III, who previously spent time with the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks, respectively, and former Raptors two-way Chucky Hepburn and Nimari Burnett, who’s fresh off winning a national title with the Michigan Wolverines.
The 905 roster will also include reigning G League defensive player of the year Jamarion Sharp, whose rights were acquired in a trade with the Texas Legends last month. Meanwhile, there’ll be three returning players in Tyreke Key, Tyson Degenhart and AJ Hoggard, and a Canadian in Olumide Adelodun (Calgary), who makes the team through the open tryout process.
The Raptors 905 enter the year following an improved 2025-26 campaign that saw them get off to a historic 16-0 start and eventually make their first playoff appearance since 2021.
They’ll be led by first-year head coach Noah Lewis, who takes over for Drew Jones and after spending the last couple of years as an assistant with the NBA Raptors.
The 905 begin their season on the road with a matchup against the College Park Skyhawks.
