The NFL is expected to suspend Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson for two games after he punched Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb in the face in the aftermath of “Monday Night Football,” according to multiple reports.
The incident took place on the field after Buffalo’s 37-34 overtime win at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles on Monday. Jackson was exchanging his jersey with a Bills player when Chubb said something to Jackson and pointed at him from a distance.

Chubb turned around and walked away after his comment. Jackson followed Chubb and the two exchanged words. Jackson then punched Chubb in the face. ESPN cameras recorded the incident during its postgame coverage.
The suspension leaves the Rams without a key player during a critical juncture of their season.
A Rams team that entered the season as the favorite to win the Super Bowl fell to 2-3 with the loss and will now play its next two games without its most important offensive lineman. Backup David Quessenberry is a candidate to replace Jackson at left tackle to protect Matthew Stafford’s blindside.
