There is just no other way to put it: New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn blew it. He made so many critical mistakes that cost his team dearly.
At the end of regulation, he had a chance to get the ball back one more time and refused. He had the timeouts. He didn’t use them.

“Oh yeah, I was really confused by that. That’s why we called the timeout and tried a Hail Mary,” Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said after the game.
The game was tied at 17. Had the Jets used a timeout at the end of regulation, they would have had about 50 seconds to play with on offense. Maybe the game would have never gone to overtime? We will never know.
Instead, the Jets blew a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter. Instead of being 2-0 for the first time since 2015, this team is 1-1, facing more questions about the head coach than answers.
