Minor Roster Moves: Magic, Raptors, Jazz, Kings
The Magic have signed Mike Sharavjamts, the team announced Monday (Twitter link). It’s an Exhibit 10 deal, according to Jason Beede of The Orlando Sentinel, who reports (via Twitter) that Sharavjamts will be waived later in the day.
If Sharavjamts spends at least 60 days with Orlando’s G League team, the Osceola Magic, he’d be eligible for a bonus worth up to $91K on top of his base NBAGL salary.
Orlando had open spot on its 21-man preseason roster, so no corresponding move was necessary to add Sharavjamts, a 6’8″ forward who went undrafted in June.
Sharavjamts became the first Mongolian citizen to earn a Division I athletic scholarship in basketball in 2022, when committed to Dayton. After spending his freshman year with the Fylers, Sharavjamts bounced around the NCAA over the next three seasons, playing for San Francisco, Utah and South Carolina from 2023-26.
As a senior with the Gamecocks in 2025/26, Sharavjamts averaged 10.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.9 blocks on .490/.341/.876 shooting in 32 games, all starts (29.8 minutes per contest).
Here are a few more relatively minor NBA transactions:
- The Raptors signed Tyson Degenhart on Monday, tweets Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca. In a related move, Toronto waived Andre Jackson Jr. Both players signed Exhibit 10 agreements. After going undrafted last year out of Boise State, Degenhart signed an Exhibit 10 deal with Toronto last fall, was waived, and spent 2025/26 in the G League with the Raptors 905, averaging 8.5 PPG and 3.0 RPG on .547/.389/.711 shooting in 50 games (21.1 MPG). Former second-round pick Jackson spent the past three years on a standard contract with the Bucks prior to signing with the Raptors in August. The athletic wing dealt with a hamstring injury during training camp.
- The Jazz have signed Taylor Funk, according to the team (link to press release). The former St. Joseph’s and Utah State standout has spent the past three years in the G League, suiting up for the Maine Celtics, Capital City Go-Go and — most recently — the San Diego Clippers. In 41 games with San Diego last season, the 6’8″ forward, who almost certainly signed an Exhibit 10 deal, averaged 11.3 PPG, 4.5 RPG and 2.2 APG on .431/.391/.794 shooting.
- The Kings waived training camp invitees Sean East II and Viktor Lakhin on Sunday, per NBA.com’s transaction log. Both players could be headed to the G League to play with Sacramento’s affiliate club in Stockton.
