The Baltimore Ravens are still waiting for a full diagnosis of quarterback Lamar Jackson’s ankle injury.
Head coach Jesse Minter told reporters on Monday, “I don’t know the chances yet” of Jackson playing Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

Minter did add, “I don’t think it’s going to be crazy long-term.” On the one hand, this could be gamesmanship, and we could see Jackson back at practice on Wednesday. On the other hand, it sounds like the starting QB could be sidelined for at least a week, maybe more, due to the ankle injury.
Jackson didn’t return to the field for Baltimore after halftime of the Ravens’ 24-18 win over the Tennessee Titans. It was a surprise not to see him, and it was tough to pinpoint exactly when his ankle injury occurred.
The best guess was a sack that he took on the second-to-last play before halftime.

Regardless, Tyler Huntley came on in relief and helped Baltimore hold on to its lead to win and move to 3-1 on the season. The Ravens scored 24 points in the first half, but were shut out on offense in the second half without Jackson. Huntley finished 8-of-9 passing for 63 yards and added 16 rushing yards.
Jackson was spotted leaving the locker room in a walking boot and was scheduled for an MRI on Monday.
Before the injury, Jackson was effective through the air. While he is known for using his legs in the open field, he had only 20 yards on two carries. Through the air, though, the QB threw for 222 yards and 2 touchdowns on 15 completions.

Jackson has completed 70.8% of his passes, which, if he sustains that mark, would be a career high. The quarterback has thrown for 967 yards, 6 touchdowns and 1 interception so far. Jackson isn’t running as much, but still has an additional 144 yards and another score on the ground.
The Ravens are tied with the Cleveland Browns atop the AFC North through four games. Both teams are 3-1, while the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals are 2-2.
