Center N’Faly Dante has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Knicks, the team announced (via Twitter).

Dante spent part of last season with Atlanta before suffering a torn ACL in his right knee during a December G League game and being waived in February. He appeared in four games with the Hawks last season and four more with the Rockets as a rookie in 2024/25.

The Knicks also confirmed a recent report that they signed Jaden Akins to an Exhibit 10 deal and subsequently waived him. The 23-year-old guard spent last season in the G League with the Motor City Cruise.

The Exhibit 10 deals make both players eligible for bonuses worth up to $91K if they spend at least 60 days with New York’s G League affiliate after being waived. Those contracts can also be converted to two-way deals, and the Knicks currently have all three of their two-way slots open.

In other minor transactions:

• The Grizzlies waived Kira Lewis Jr., who signed with the team Saturday afternoon, and replaced him with Lawson Lovering (Twitter link). The 23-year-old center played for the Memphis Hustle in the G League last season and appeared in two NBA games with the Grizzlies on a 10-day contract in February. Memphis has made a series of roster moves over the past two days in preparation for training camp.
• The Hornets announced the signing of Jarkel Joiner, who they waived in early September. The 27-year-old point guard, who played for Raptors 905 last season, takes over the roster spot that was vacated when Charlotte waived Ryan Nembhard.
• The Clippers have signed Hunter Sallis and Jason Preston, tweets Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot. Sallis played for the team’s G League affiliate in San Diego last season after appearing in seven games with Philadelphia on a two-way contract. Preston also signed a training camp deal with L.A. last fall.
