Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jaylen Warren rushed 15 times for 101 yards and a touchdown and hauled in all six of his targets for 87 yards and another score in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Why It Matters: Warren really tore it up in leagues that award bonuses for big plays this week with an 80-yard TD catch in the first quarter and a 50-yard scoring gallop midway through the third. He has made an awful compelling case to be the featured back in this offense. In three games with Rico Dowdle sidelined, Warren’s worst effort in that time has been 126 total yards in the team’s Week 4 loss at Cleveland. Dowdle should be back soon, but the Steelers have almost no choice to keep giving Warren 18 or more touches. That is more than enough for him to sneak into the RB1 conversation, especially with bye weeks upon us.
