Coming off a brutal offensive and defensive effort against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos have only questions and no answers heading into Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The offense looked absolutely discombobulated which should rightfully spawn questions about Davis Webb and his ability to run it. Then on defense there were as many – if not more – missed tackles in that game then that disastrous 70-burger game against the Miami Dolphins in 2023.
According to FanDuel, the Broncos are somehow 2.5-point home favorites against the Jaguars in Week 2. The over/under stands at 44.5 for this matchup.

To make matters worse for the Broncos, there was exactly one team last year that soundly beat Denver in all phases and that was these Jaguars. That was Denver’s last regular season loss too, but that game did expose some of those defensive weaknesses that seemingly all cropped up and magnified by 10x on Monday night against the Chiefs.
The question is whether or not the entire team can figure out all of these issues within the next six days. This is a must-win situation now even though its only Week 2, but they have to respond to this blowout loss with a strong bounce-back performance or we could see some serious fallout over the first half of the season.
