Meanwhile, while reporting on Thursday suggested that the first season of Isaiah Crawford‘s new four-year, minimum-salary deal with the Rockets will be guaranteed if he makes the opening night roster, Hoops Rumors has learned that remaining under contract through opening night will actually only assure him of a partial guarantee worth $1,154,325. His full $2,449,421 salary would become guaranteed if he’s not waived on or before January 7.

Finally, Jae’Sean Tate‘s new one-year, minimum-salary contract with the Rockets is partially guaranteed for $1,039,669. Notably, Tate waived his right to veto a trade during the 2026/27 league year. That implicit no-trade clause is typically awarded to a player who re-signs with his previous team on a one-year deal, but the club can ask him to waive it.
