The Philadelphia Eagles are back at home Sunday for an early-afternoon game against the New York Giants.
The Giants currently sit at the top of the NFC East (gross) with a 4-2-1 record, and the Eagles sit pretty firmly in last place after consecutive losses to the Cowboys and Commanders in two primetime games. There’s so many things for the Eagles to figure out with this roster that winning the division is a distant goal.

It’ll be interesting to see how the offense looks with Joe Milton as the starting quarterback, and whether he’s able to pull out the dynamic ability of several playmakers. Being excited about that potential is a risk given the team’s weekly ability to shatter the little bits of hope we have left.

Week 9 is here… let’s see what Joe Milton can do! (It can’t be any worse than what we’ve already been dealing with.)

Q1 [NYG 6 – PHI 8]: EAGLES TAKE THE LEAD! Saquon Barkley gets into the endzone on a three-yard run, and they went for a two-point conversion and GOT IT thanks to Joe Milton.
Q1 [NYG 6 – PHI 0]: Eagles edge rusher Jonathan Greenard had a big 10-yard tackle for loss forcing the Giants to settle for another field goal, and Zvada hit it from 49 yards. Looking to be a long day at Lincoln Financial Field…
Q1 [NYG 3 – PHI 0]: That didn’t take long. The Eagles defense was able to hold the Giants to a field goal on their opening drive, but Dominic Zvada nailed a 53-yarder for the first points of the game.
