BB 20: Weekend ka Vaar: Salman Khan calls Qazi Touqeer ‘Rockstar’, calls out his medical room ‘acting’ stuntinstagram
The wait is over! Salman Khan is all set to host the first Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 20 tonight, and BB fans are waiting with bated breath for the weekend episode. The promo of Weekend Ka Vaar was dropped on Friday night, with Salman seen enjoying the vibe of this season and being impressed with singer Qazi Touqeer.
During the episode, Salman praised Qazi for his unique personality and entertaining presence inside the Bigg Boss house. Referring to Qazi’s popular catchphrase, Salman said, “Iss ghar mein kitne bhi stars ho, Rockstar sirf ek hai; Qazi Touqeer.”
Qazi has been grabbing attention since entering the reality show with his energetic personality, quirky antics and signature “I’m a Rockstar baby” dialogue. His catchphrase and dance step have also become a talking point among viewers.
Salman then asked Qazi to teach him the dance step associated with his “Rockstar” moment. Qazi demonstrated the step for Salman, who also joined him and tried to recreate the move. The moment added a fun element to the first Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
In the latest episode, he was seen shouting for his medicine after a task, leaving his fellow contestants concerned about his health.
Qazi’s behaviour worried the housemates, following which Bigg Boss asked him to report to the medical room. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when Qazi told the doctor that there was nothing wrong with him and that he was simply “playing the game” and acting.
Qazi also clarified that he had already told the cameras that he was pretending. After returning from the medical room, he continued to remain in character and said he planned to entertain viewers by taking on different characters each night.
Who is Qazi Touqeer?
Qazi Touqeer, who shot to fame after winning Fame Gurukul in 2005, entered Bigg Boss 20 as one of the contestants this season. Since entering the house, Qazi has frequently grabbed attention with his dramatic performances and unconventional behaviour. His “I’m a Rockstar baby” catchphrase has particularly caught on with viewers.
The singer has also received support from fellow musician Arijit Singh, who shares a long-standing friendship with Qazi from their Fame Gurukul days. Arijit recently said that Qazi’s presence would be the reason he watches Bigg Boss for the first time.
