The German is within striking distance in the Race to Turin standings.
Jannik Sinner’s lead atop the ATP rankings is still expansive, and Alexander Zverev has returned to No.2 thanks to his trip to the Wimbledon final.
Sinner lead remains nearly 5,000 points at the top of the rankings, and Zverev leapfrogs Carlos Alcaraz, who has not played since he had to pull out of Barcelona with a wrist injury.
Alex de Minaur rises to a career-high No.5, rounding out the Top 5.
Things are closer in the Race to Turin standings as Sinner leads Zverev by 1410 points. 2026 Australian Open champion Alcaraz is still at No.3.
The biggest move inside the Top 100 is Arthur Fery’s 78-point rise to No.36. The British wild card reached the semis at Wimbledon, rescuing what would have been a very dour tournament for the home nation with an inspiring run that featured victories from two sets to one down in the third round over Zizou Bergs and in the fourth round over Grigor Dimitrov. Ferry, 24, topped Flavio Cobolli in straight sets in the quarterfinals before bowing out to Alexander Zverev.
He also passed Cameron Norrie to become the top-ranked British man.
Jan-Lennard Struff, who became the oldest first-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist at Wimbledon, rises 33 spots to No.41. The former World No.21 turned 36 on April 25.
Roman Safiullin, who reached the round of 16 before falling to Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon, rises 36 spots to No.36. The former World No.36, 28, is on the rise again after dealing with a serious hip injury for several months.
