The Warriors have waived Chance McMillian and Deivon Smith after signing them earlier on Wednesday to Exhibit 10 contracts, according to the NBA’s transaction log.
Both players were members of the Warriors’ G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, last season, and both will be eligible to receive Exhibit 10 bonuses if they stay with the team for at least 60 days.
The 6’3″ McMillian played nine games for the Warriors this summer across the Las Vegas Summer League and the California Classic, averaging 10.0 points and hitting 51.4% of his threes in 16.2 minutes.
Smith played in seven games, averaging 8.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 17.2 minutes per game, including a 21-point, nine-rebound Summer League finale.
