MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – Travel Marquette is offering residents and tourists a fun chance to visit local breweries and even win a prize.

The Brew Pass is available until Sept. 13. Those with the pass will visit local participating breweries to receive a check-in from the bartender. After two check-ins, you are eligible to win a free deck of cards designed by a local artist. After five check-ins, you can win a free heavy-duty blanket.

Travel Marquette’s CEO Susan Estler says breweries are a great place for residents to socialize and help support the economy of Marquette.

“All the different activities that the breweries have, especially during the summer months, is a great way to kind of integrate yourself with the community and for the community to talk to visitors as they’re here in Marquette County,” Estler said.
