The Pittsburgh Steelers are enjoying their week off as they sit on top of the AFC North. Following a dominant win over the Cleveland Browns, the Steelers are in the driver’s seat to win the division. This is Mike McCarthy’s first time as the Steelers head coach, and he has some lofty things to live up to coming out of the bye week. The Steelers have won eight straight games out of the bye week under Mike Tomlin.
Sunday Night Football will be a clash for the division lead, most likely, as the Cincinnati Bengals will host Pittsburgh. The Bengals are a real threat to Pittsburgh as Baltimore is scrambling and Cleveland may be on their way back to earth. Pittsburgh can put a stranglehold on the division with a win next week, and truly control its destiny as they’ll face an Eagles team led by backup Tanner McKee the following week. 8-2 is certainly on the table for Pittsburgh if they can beat their division foes off of the bye.
