Cowboys cornerback Joey Porter Jr. did not play in four games with the Steelers. He was inactive due to his on-again, off-again back issue, which wasn’t an issue after the trade to the Cowboys.
Porter, though, has had an ankle injury and an illness, playing one of two possible games in Dallas.

He is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Packers.
Porter was unhappy with the Steelers after not getting a desired long-term contract extension before the season. The Cowboys made clear after the trade that they aren’t negotiating with Porter this season.
Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones was asked on 105.3 The Fan whether he had concerns about a hold-in from Porter.
“Oh, absolutely, I think he’s all in,” Jones said on his radio show Friday, via Jon Machota of TheAthletic.com. “He wants to be out there. He was sick [in Week 5 against the Bucs]. He couldn’t play last week with the flu. But he obviously played in our [Week 4 game against the Texans], and I think he’s fired up about what he can do to help us win against the Packers.”
Porter said earlier this week that he expects to have a full-time role in the defense against the Packers.
