The Miami Dolphins may not put forth an exciting product for fans during the 2026 season, but at least they’ll be dressed for success while you’re watching them try.
This week, Sports Illustrated released their rankings of the best uniforms in the entire National Football League, and the Dolphins cracked the top-10 — coming in at #9 overall. The Rams brought up the rear, checking in at number #32, while the stinkin’ New York Jets were just one spot head at #31. The Los Angeles Chargers earned the top spot.

The Dolphins were the highest rated AFC East team in regards to their uniforms, with the New England Patriots at #20 and the Buffalo Bills checking in at #17.
Here’s what Sports Illustrated had to say about Miami’s threads for the upcoming season.
“Miami changed its logo from the “leaping dolphin” to the “swimming dolphin” ahead of the 2013 season, and with it came a refreshed set of uniforms. While subtle adjustments have continued to shape what the kits now look like heading into 2026, the focus on their signature aqua color has remained—and is what makes them pop.“
Of course, fans have been clamoring for the Dolphins to make their throwback look a permanent one moving forward, but with the league trying to maximize jersey sales, don’t expect that to be a thing any time soon. For now, just enjoy when the squad busts them out once or twice a season in attempt to trigger the nostalgia of aging fans who actually remember when the team was a winning one wearing those kits.
