Chicago Bears WR Rome Odunze caught four passes for 69 yards in a Week 7 win over the New England Patriots. He was targeted five times.
Why It Matters: You got the full Rome Odunze experience on Thursday night. He disappeared for long stretches, dropped a ball after committing offensive pass interference, and made an amazing catch for a critical third-down conversion that helped the Bears secure a win. We’re in Year 3 with Odunze, and it’s still far from clear what the Bears have. Through seven games, the former Huskie is averaging 3.4 receptions for 54 yards per game, and he’s yet to score a touchdown in 2026 — in fact, Odunze, who scored five TDs in his first four games of 2025, has just one touchdown in his last 17 games (including the playoffs). Given his age and the offense he plays in, Odunze still offers enough upside to be worth rostering as a WR4/WR5 type.
