The Sixers have officially signed center Tacko Fall, point guard Jameer Nelson Jr., and forward Saint Thomas, the team announced on Tuesday (via Twitter).
According to Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice (Twitter link), all three players received non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts. Dave McMenamin of ESPN adds (via Twitter) that Fall, Nelson, and Thomas are expected to participate in training camp with the team.
Fall, 30, is a 7’6″ center who made 37 regular season NBA appearances from 2019-22 for the Celtics and Cavaliers. The Senegalese big man racked up 90 rebounds and 30 blocks in 228 total regular season minutes but has a limited offensive game and isn’t especially mobile on defense. Since being waived by Cleveland in 2022, he has played for multiple teams in China and had a stint with the New Zealand Breakers in Australia’s National Basketball League.
Nelson, the son of longtime NBA point guard – and current Sixers executive VP of basketball operations – Jameer Nelson, signed Exhibit 10 contracts with San Antonio in 2024 and Sacramento in 2025 but has never played in an NBA game. The former TCU standout has spent his first two professional seasons competing in the G League, Canada, China, and Puerto Rico.
Thomas went undrafted in 2025 after finishing his college career at USC and spent his rookie season with the Delaware Blue Coats, Philadelphia’s G League affiliate. The 6’7″ forward averaged 10.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 26.9 minutes per game over the course of 47 NBAGL outings, posting a shooting line of .478/.333/.796.
An Exhibit 10 contract can be converted into a two-way deal before the regular season begins or puts a player in line to receive a bonus worth up to $91K if he’s waived and then spends at least 60 days with his team’s G League affiliate.
For what it’s worth, the 76ers do have an open two-way slot alongside Rayan Rupert and Caleb Love, so Fall, Nelson, and Thomas could get a chance to compete for that spot. Duke Miles is also on an Exhibit 10 deal with the Sixers, who now have one opening left on their 20-man offseason roster.
