Kent Spitfires’ T20 Blast captain Sam Billings says he expects a “feisty” game at Essex on Tuesday, as both teams chase South group leaders Hampshire.
Kent were comfortably beaten by Essex when the two teams met at Canterbury last month, and also lost their last outing against the Sussex Sharks on Sunday.
“We’ve got to have a reaction against Essex, because finishing this block with four wins and two losses, as opposed to three and three, is a vast difference,” he said.
“It’s always a great game, always feisty, and it’s a game that we relish. We need to get our own back.”
