Salud! Beer & Wine recently opened at the Hampshire-Langley Shopping Center, bringing an upscale but approachable beer and wine experience to the community. The shop is located at 1173A University Blvd and aims to serve as a convenient neighborhood stop with a strong local feel.

The new store offers a wide selection of beer, wine, and Maryland Lottery products, with a focus on creating a clean, welcoming, and customer-friendly environment.  

For the owner, the opening is personal. After more than 15 years living in Montgomery County, choosing Takoma Park was intentional. The area’s diversity, walkability, and strong support for small businesses made it the right fit for launching the concept.

Salud! Beer & Wine is designed to be more than just a quick stop. The goal is to provide an elevated retail experience where customers can browse unique beer and wine selections while feeling part of the neighborhood. Plans include building local partnerships and becoming a trusted go-to spot for residents in Takoma Park and the surrounding communities.

The shop was first announced as part of a lease deal for the Hampshire-Langley Shopping Center, adding another retail option to the area. With its doors now open, Salud! Beer & Wine is positioning itself as a community-focused addition to Takoma Park’s local business scene.
