Free agent guard Blake Wesley will sign a one-year contract with the Clippers, league sources tell Jake Fischer of The Stein Line and Bleacher Report (Twitter link).

The 25th overall pick in the 2022 draft, Wesley spent his first three seasons with San Antonio prior to being traded to Washington in the 2025 offfseason. He spent last season on a minimum-salary deal with the Trail Blazers, averaging 4.8 points and 2.0 assists in 11.6 minutes per game.

Known for his speed and athleticism, Wesley missed a significant portion of 2025/26 due to a fractured fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot, which required surgery. The 23-year-old made 31 regular season appearances for Portland in ’25/26.

While the terms of Wesley’s deal with the Clippers were not disclosed, it seems likely to be a non-guaranteed training camp deal featuring Exhibit 10 language. Since he has four years of NBA experience, Wesley is not eligible for a two-way deal.

• Guard Bryson Warren signed a training camp deal with the Pistons on Saturday, per RealGM’s log of official NBA transactions. However, Warren isn’t on Detroit’s training camp roster, which suggests he received an Exhibit 10 contract and might be waived in the near future. The Pistons have also signed forward John Ukomadu to an Exhibit 10 deal, the team announced, and he is on the training camp roster, along with fellow Exhibit 10 player Brice Williams. Ukomadu spent last season with the Motor City Cruise, Detroit’s G League affiliate.
• The Lakers have signed William Kyle III and Cole Swider, the team announced (via Twitter). Reporting back in June indicated that Kyle would sign an Exhibit 10 deal with the Lakers, which is likely the case for Swider too. Kyle, a 6’9″ center/forward, averaged 8.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks with Syracuse last season. Swider, who holds three years of NBA experience, spent last season in the EuroLeague with the Turkish team Anadolu Efes.
