Daniil Medvedev is headed back to the Nitto ATP Finals.
The former World No.1 punched his ticket to the prestigious season-ending championships on Friday in Vienna, defeating Adrian Mannarino in the quarterfinals to secure his seventh appearance at the event.

It was Medvedev’s seventh consecutive win after he claimed his 25th career title in Almaty last week.
After missing out on qualification in 2025, Medvedev has returned to the elite eight-player field on the strength of a resurgent 2026 campaign that has seen him claim four ATP titles.
The Russian, who won the ATP Finals title in 2020, made six consecutive appearances at the event from 2019 to 2024. He owns a 12-11 lifetime record at the season-ending championships.
Medvedev joins Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev and Ben Shelton in the 2026 field, with four singles spots still up for grabs.
The 30-year-old has been one of the ATP Tour’s most consistent performers across the 2026 season, improving to 52-18 with Friday’s victory in Vienna.
His latest milestone comes just one day after a dramatic escape against Cameron Norrie in the second round. Medvedev saved a match point against the Briton on Thursday to reach his 100th career ATP quarterfinal.
Now the Russian can set his sights on making another deep run at the Nitto ATP Finals, where he will bid to add a second title to his impressive résumé.
