Kyle Anderson has agreed to a one-year, $3.9 million deal with the Raptors, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Thursday.
The 32-year-old spent last season with the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves. He averaged 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 36.4 per cent from deep in 43 games between the three franchises.
Anderson is a 12-year veteran, and the Raptors are his seventh NBA team.
The forward will reunite with the reported returning Raptor and former San Antonio Spur Kawhi Leonard.
Anderson holds career averages of 6.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 757 games.
It’s unclear how much playing time Anderson can expect as the Raptors boast plenty of options at the forward position. Leonard, Scottie Barnes, Collin Murray-Boyles, RJ Barrett, and the recently drafted Allen Graves will most likely be ahead of Anderson on the depth chart.
