The Toronto Raptors‘ injury report continues to grow ahead of a key NBA Cup matchup.
Point guard Immanuel Quickley has been downgraded to questionable with right hamstring tightness for Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks (Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, 7:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PCT) , the team announced.
Quickley joins Scottie Barnes (left adductor/groin) and Kyle Anderson (illness) as players whose status remains up in the air for Friday. Meanwhile, Kawhi Leonard (knee) remains out.
It’s unclear how or when Quickley suffered the injury, but he played 32 minutes in the Raptors’ 128-109 loss to the Denver Nuggets Wednesday.
In eight games this season, the 27-year-old has averaged 17.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 31.8 minutes a night.
On the brighter side for the Raptors (4-4), centre Jakob Poeltl (shoulder) was upgraded to probable.
The Austrian big man played in Wednesday’s game against Denver but came off the bench for only 18 minutes of action. He missed a back-to-back in Los Angeles against the Lakers and Clippers last week.
Poeltl has struggled this season, averaging 5.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 0.3 blocks in 20 minutes per game over his six appearances.
