Reacts Survey Results: Jacksonville’s pass rush is still a problem

This week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans to pinpoint the team’s biggest weakness against top teams.

Nearly half of respondents said the pass rush.

Since last year’s Week 8 bye, the Jags are 10-2 in the regular season — but they split two games against the Broncos and lost to the Texans, as well as to the Bills in the playoffs. Their wins in that span came against the Colts (2x), Titans (2x), Jets, Cardinals, Raiders, and Chargers.

Long story short, Liam Coen’s team is still has to prove that they can beat the best teams in the NFL. On a consistent basis.

It would certainly help to have a pass rush that doesn’t rank bottom-10 in pressure rate and total sacks every dang season! The most frustrating part about Jacksonville’s inability to affect opposing passers is that it’s a problem we all saw coming. For crying out loud, find a solution past Ruke Orhororo and Wesley Williams, Gladstone.

As for the confidence survey, 84% of fans are confident the team is headed in the right direction.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Jacksonville’s odds to win Super Bowl LXI shifted from +3000 before the season to +2200 after the Week 1 win over Cleveland, and to +2500 after the Week 2 loss in Denver.

There’s a real chance that after this weekend, the Jaguars will be 3-0 and the rest of the AFC South will be 0-9. What a wonderful world that would be.
