The Indianapolis Colts (0-1) were dominated during their regular season home opener against the Baltimore Ravens (1-0), as they were bullied to the tune of 41-23.

The game was already over by halftime, as the Ravens led 31-13 at intermission.

Despite having months this offseason leading up to their Week 1 matchup to prepare, the Colts players and coaching staff were dominated in all three facets of the game: offense, defense, and special teams.

In particular, the Colts linebackers and secondary were an abomination defensively, as there was miscommunication, blown coverage assignments, and their defensive unit collectively failed to consistently execute on the field.

Offensively, starting quarterback Daniel Jones was one of the most pressured NFL passers last week, as the Ravens blitzed the Colts with reckless abandonment, and the Indianapolis offense couldn’t effectively adjust.

As such, only 9% of Colts fans now believe that the team is headed in the right direction:

It doesn’t get any easier for Week 2, as Indianapolis will have to regroup quickly from that disaster of a Week 1 showing and travel to Arrowhead Stadium, a notoriously difficult road environment, to take on future Hall of Fame quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs (1-0)(-6.5) on Sunday Night Football.

The already hot seats of longtime general manager Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen only got hotter, and the Colts will want to turn this around quickly or run the risk of easily falling into an 0-3 start to begin 2026—with hosting the Houston Texans on the docket for Week 3.
