The Raptors have waived two-way big man Trey Jemison, Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype tweets.
Jemison, who made one preseason appearance, signed his two-way deal in early August. Jemison suffered a hand injury during training camp, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet tweets.
Toronto now has a pair of two-way openings with only guard Malachi Smith on a two-way deal.
An undrafted free agent out of UAB in 2023, Jemison has spent his first three professional seasons bouncing back and forth between the NBA and G League, having signed 10-day contracts with Washington and Memphis as a rookie before also spending time on two-way deals with the Grizzlies, Pelicans, Lakers, and Knicks.
In total, Jemison has made 76 NBA regular-season appearances since 2023, though he played just 13 times for New York in 2025/26, compiling 13 points and 18 rebounds in 82 total minutes of action for the champions. The 6’10” center was a regular contributor for the Westchester Knicks in the G League, averaging 8.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 blocks in 27.7 minutes per game over the course of 31 outings for New York’s NBAGL affiliate.
It’s not out of the question Jemison will get claimed by a team seeking frontcourt help, considering his NBA experience.
