The Raptors will play the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets in NBA Cup group-stage action as the league revealed the six groups and full schedule for the in-season tournament on Wednesday.
Toronto lost in the first round of the knockout stage of last year’s NBA Cup against the eventual champion New York Knicks.
The Raptors were shut out of the Christmas and opening-day slates, which were unveiled Tuesday.
Now, some fall dates have been filled up. They’ll open NBA Cup action at home against the Magic on Oct. 30 before visiting the Bucks on Nov. 6 and the Pistons on Nov. 20. Action wraps with a home game against the Nets on Nov. 27.
The NBA Cup quarterfinals will then take place Dec. 4 and 5 with the semifinals set for Dec. 8 and/or 9. The championship game will occur for the first time at Hinkie Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Dec. 11.
