This Geoffrey Beene dress with a quilted collar is included in a display in the Human Ecology Building entrance opposite the museum entrance. The display coicides with the LSU Textile & Costume Museum’s exhibit, ‘Stitches in Time: Quilts and Fashion,’ which runs through Jan. 15, 2027. The show explores the connection between 19th- and 20th-century quilting and high-end fashion, featuring over a dozen quilts and roughly 30 garments.
