OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio (WOIO) – The Eye Place in Olmsted Falls announced in a social media post Sunday that it would be closed after Friday’s fire.
The Columbia Road optometry center run by Dr. Scott Sedlacek announced it would be closing after “a catastrophic fire on May 1st that completely destroyed the entire building.”
The fire was seen coming directly from neighboring business Falls Family Restaurant.
In the Facebook post announcing the closure, the center shared video of damage it suffered in the fire.
Around the same time, the Eye Place updated its profile photo to show the business while it was ablaze.
The business said it will only be able to check messages remotely via cell phones.
