Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season kicked off with a thriller between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. While the game certainly got off to a slow start, the exciting finish was exactly what football fans were looking for to introduce us back to the NFL.

But this week’s NFL schedule is unrelenting. On Thursday night, we’ve got a huge NFC West showdown in Australia between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Chargers. That’s two potential Super Bowl contenders facing off in a critical divisional game.

Truly, all of the primetime games are bonafide bangers this week. On “Sunday Night Football,” we’ve got the historic rivalry of Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants, and the week concludes with a battle between two AFC Super Bowl contenders in the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs.

Somewhere in between those games, there’s the NFC North bout between the Packers and Vikings and the Battle for Baltimore between the Ravens and Colts.

In short, there is no deficit of highly entertaining matchups on the Week 1 slate.
