The Nets officially announced on Wednesday that they’ve signed forwards Ben Humrichous and Dain Dainja to contracts. A source tells NetsDaily (Twitter link) that both players are expected to be in training camp with the club. Brooklyn now has a full 21-man roster.

Humrichous reportedly agreed to terms with Brooklyn on an Exhibit 10 contract shortly after going undrafted in June. The 6’9″ forward wrapped up his college career last season by playing a reserve role for an Illinois team that advanced to the Final Four before losing to UConn. He averaged 5.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 22.5 minutes per game over the course of 37 outings, with a shooting line of .383/.361/.792.

Dainja, 24, went undrafted in 2025 out of Memphis and signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Heat last September. The 6’9″ forward spent training camp and preseason with Miami before being waived and reporting to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the team’s G League affiliate.

Dainja appeared in 50 games for the Skyforce, averaging 13.1 PPG and 5.9 RPG in 21.9 MPG while making 62.3% of his shots from the floor. He attempted (and missed) just a single three-pointer in those 50 contests while shooting 52.6% from the free throw line.

Both Humrichous and Dainja played for Brooklyn’s Summer League team in July and now seem likely to suit up for the Long Island Nets in the G League this fall.

Assuming they both signed Exhibit 10 deals, which is a safe bet, they’d be eligible to receive bonuses worth up to $91K on top of their base NBAGL salaries if they spend at least 60 days with Long Island. If that’s the plan, the Nets would have to acquire Dainja’s returning rights from the Skyforce.
