Warriors rookie forward Yaxel Lendeborg, who was named the Most Valuable Player of Sunday’s Summer League championship game, has won a second award in his first month as an NBA player, having earned MVP honors for the Las Vegas Summer League, according to the league (Twitter link).
A vote of all 30 teams was taken to determine the Vegas MVP and the All-Summer League teams for 2026. Lendeborg is also one of five players who earned a spot on the All-Summer League first team.

The first team was made up nearly entirely of 2026 lottery picks, with Boozer (No. 3 overall pick), Wilson (No. 4), Burries (No. 10), and Lendeborg (No. 11) claiming four of the five spots alongside another rookie, No. 34 pick Thomas.
Thomas was the leading scorer in Vegas, pouring in a whopping 27.3 points in 29.0 minutes per game across his four outings. He also contributed 3.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per contest, with an excellent shooting line of .500/.438/1.000.
Burries and Wilson put up nearly identical scoring numbers in four games apiece, averaging 23.5 points per game on 50.0% shooting. Wilson also grabbed 7.3 rebounds and blocked 2.5 shots per game, though his 5.3 turnovers per game were the most among Summer League participants.
Lendeborg (14.8 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 4.0 APG, 1.5 SPG) and Boozer (18.5 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 3.8 APG, 1.8 SPG) had less gaudy scoring numbers, but they filled up the box score and led their respective teams to the Summer League championship game on Sunday, where the Warriors got the best of the Grizzlies.
While the first team was made up entirely of rookies, the second team features four members of the 2025 draft class, including three lottery picks. Pullin is the outlier — he went undrafted in 2024 and has appeared in just eight NBA regular season games since then, though he’s currently under contract with Minnesota on a two-way deal. He averaged 21.0 points and 7.8 assists per game in five Summer League appearances.
Maluach was the leading rebounder in Vegas, with 12.8 RPG to go along with 19.5 PPG; Coward averaged 19.0 PPG while shooting 41.7% from beyond the three-point line; Demin put up 21.0 PPG, 4.3 APG, and 3.7 RPG; and McNeeley made 10-of-19 three-pointers (52.6%) while scoring 21.7 PPG.
