The Detroit Lions (2-1) and Carolina Panthers (1-2) have declared their injury designations ahead of their Week 4 matchup on “Sunday Night Football.” The Lions have a fairly light injury list, with only one player ruled out, while the Panthers will be down two starters, with four others questionable to play.
Let’s take a look at Friday’s injury report and get you up to date with what we know.

Note: Any changes from the most recent injury report will be bolded.
After missing the last two weeks of practice, the Lions have officially ruled Bartch out for this matchup, marking his second straight game missed due to his foot injury. The Lions still have eight healthy offensive linemen on their active roster, so they’ll still qualify for the game-day roster bonus, assuming all are active. Christian Mahogany is expected to make his third start at left guard.
Reed was able to practice all week, in limited fashion, and looks on track to start this game. The Lions could certainly use him on the field, as he has been the best corner amongst a struggling group, and Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has been terrific passing the ball so far this season.

After missing practice on Wednesday, Wonnum returned to practice on Thursday, then stacked that with another practice on Friday as well. With his increased role and production, the Lions’ pass rush would certainly benefit from his availability—though we may see a bit more from rookie Derrick Morore in this game if the Lions feel Wonnum needs to be cautious.
