The Buffalo Bills held a walkthrough practice Wednesday in Southern California where the team is staying as they prepare for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. With a Monday night game that ran late and well into overtime, head coach Joe Brady opted for the extra day of rest.
That means the latest injury report is a guess – an educated one, but a guess just the same. It also means that any of the injuries, and be prepared – there are a lot of them, came from either the game or are carried over from last week.

No new injuries from practice is the silver lining here.

This hasn’t changed. It’s still DJ Moore and Ed Oliver. Good news is that Spencer Brown’s name isn’t in this category.
This is where we find Brown, who left Monday’s game with a back injury (likely spasms). The fact that they feel he could have practiced some is a good sign, but we really won’t know until the Bills hold a full practice tomorrow.
Dee Alford is continuing to try get back into the game after missing part of Week 4 and all of Week 5 games with an ankle injury. While he’s listed as limited, it’s likely he’s trending toward playing. The Bills cut cornerback Anthony Kendall (and then signed him to the practice squad) this week after having signed him to the active roster to fill in for Alford this week.

T.J. Sanders now has a shoulder injury and Ty Johnson is dealing with a hamstring issue. It’s also a good sign to see that Joshua Palmer would have been limited today after what seemed to be a practice injury last week sidelining him Monday.
The only new names here are C.J. Gardner Johnson and TJ Parker. Gardner-Johnson has both ankle and knee injuries, but after a mid-game scare the fact that he’s listed as a full participant is a good sign.
It’s worth noting that there are several players from last week’s injury reports who no longer need extra attention from the Bills’ training staff. Those include Joe Andreessen and Ray Davis as well as Damar Hamlin and Dorian Williams.

Again, Wednesday was a walk through, so the real test will comes Thursday when the pads go on and we get to see how these injuries hold up under more stress.
