The rookie is back.
The Jets will activate rookie wideout Omar Cooper Jr. off the injured reserve list Saturday ahead of the team’s Week 6 matchup with the Patriots on Sunday, per SNY’s Connor Hughes.

Hughes reports that the Jets will also elevate LB Jaden Keller.
Cooper missed the last four games due to a high-ankle sprain suffered in Week 1, but the Indiana product has made enough progress to play Sunday, despite being listed as questionable throughout the week.
Head coach Aaron Glenn said he felt good about Cooper having his 21-day practice window opened earlier this week.
The 30th overall pick in this past year’s draft made one catch for 30 yards in Week 1, but was injured on the play. The return of Cooper gives the Jets offense a nice boost, as they look to pair Garret Wilson with another young receiver. Gang Green already ruled wideout Adonai Mitchell and Breece Hall out for Sunday’s game, but the rookie adds another dimension to Glenn’s offense.
Kenyon Sadiq (concussion) and safety Dane Belton (knee) remain questionable.
