Eight-time All-Star and three-time Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard has been out of the NBA since 2022 and officially announced his retirement as a player this March. However, he apparently hasn’t decided to hang up his sneakers quite yet. Howard has signed with Black Fortress Tbilisi of the Georgian A-League, according to an announcement from the team (Instagram link; hat tip to Sportando).
Howard, who will turn 41 this December, has competed in Taiwan, Puerto Rico, and the BIG3 since he last suited up in the NBA, and is participating in exhibition games in Asia this month ahead of the upcoming season.

Knight played in the NBA from 2011-22, making 451 regular season appearances for six teams. The 34-year-old has played in Puerto Rico and Greece over the past few seasons.
- BC Roma, the new Italian team competing in the EuroCup in 2026/27, has formally confirmed that longtime NBA executive Bryan Colangelo is part of its advisory board, as Marc Stein of The Stein Line relays (via Twitter). BC Roma also announced that Hall-of-Famer Chris Mullin, a former Warriors star and executive, has joined its advisory board.
