The Hawks will sign Louisville guard Isaac McKneely to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to Jon Chepkevich of Draft Express (Twitter link).
The 6’4″ senior played three seasons at Virginia before transferring last summer and led the ACC in three-point shooting as a junior. He carried that shooting touch to the Cardinals, connecting at 39.5% this season. He also posted 10.9 points and 3.0 rebounds in 35 games while playing 28.9 minutes per night.
McKneely’s shooting prowess made him the 85th-ranked prospect on ESPN’s big board.
The Exhibit 10 contract can be converted to a two-way deal. McKneely can also receive a bonus worth up to $91K if he’s waived before the start of the season and spends at least 60 days with the College Park Skyhawks, Atlanta’s G League affiliate.
