Jevon Holland has been spectacular thus far for the Giants.
The safety put together one of the best stretches to open a season in recent history, and it was enough to earn him NFC Defensive Player of the Month honors.

Holland has done nothing but lead the way on the backend for Big Blue’s defense.
This is his first time taking home the award in his career, and he became the first player in franchise history to do so since Landon Collins in 2016.
The 26-year-old leads the league with four takeaways to this point, which is the most by a Giant through three games in more than 30 years.
He also has more takeaways than 18 total teams around the league.
Three of those takeaways have been interceptions, which is already a career-high, topping the mark he set in just his second year in the league.
The latest came to clinch Sunday’s win over the Titans at the goal line.

“That’s the kind of player Jevon Holland has always been,” head coach John Harbaugh said. “To see him flourishing right now the way he is — it’s just wonderful.”
Holland will look to keep the hot start rolling into the second month of the season, which kicks off with Sunday’s meeting with the Arizona Cardinals.
