The New York Giants are currently 2.5-point underdogs to the Dallas Cowboys in their season-opening Sept. 13 Sunday Night Football meeting, per Fanduel Sportsbook. The over/under is 48.5.
This will be the first regular-season game of the John Harbaugh era as Giants head coach.

The last time the Giants and Cowboys met in a season-opening game came in 2023, a year after the Giants surprising run to the playoffs. Dallas embarrassed the Giants in that game, 40-0, setting the stage for a miserable 6-11 season and a 13-38 three-year stretch that led to Harbaugh’s hiring.
Fanduel has the Cowboys as -120 to make the playoffs, with the Giants at +265.
The Giants have not won a season-opener since defeating the Tennessee Titans 21-20 in 2022. They started 1-5 in 2023, 2-5 in 2024, and 1-4 last season. The Giants had a grueling summer training camp under Harbaugh’s direction. We will have to see how much that matters in Week 1.
