Welcome back to BTSC’s Friday night open thread:
The NFL’s top 100 players (and I’m aware the voting players don’t take it all that seriously) is slowly being revealed over the summer, with cornerback Jalen Ramsey being the first Steeler to crack the list at No. 82. With 80 more names still to be revealed, which Steelers do you think make the list? Which ones should?
On a similar note, the Steelers’ blockbuster trade of Minkah Fitzpatrick for Ramsey and Jonnu Smith was completed a little over a year ago. In hindsight, what are your thoughts on this trade? Were there any “winners”?
A top-100 running backs list sparked some discussion on the site this week. Who are the top five running backs you’ve actually watched?
I’d highly recommend checking out the first article in Ryan’s series breaking down Mike McCarthy. That article focused on the numbers. Predict the Steelers’ average points per game in 2026.
I’ll leave the Fourth of July questions for the Saturday thread, which NAS always does a great job with, but technically, today is the U.S. federal holiday as the 4th falls on a Saturday. Did you get Friday off? If so, how did you enjoy it? I sent mine sleeping in and doing chores.
Over the summer, I’m on a quest to catch up with my movie bucket list. What are some movies you think everyone should watch at least once? And bonus points if it’s not a super obvious pick.
